Jesus Joy

Exodus 34:6, John 3:16-17, 14:6&16, Romans 8:15, Colossians 2:6-7, James 2:23

Five days ago we celebrated the birth of baby Jesus. Maybe you went to church or sang a religious carol. Maybe you didn’t. It’s okay. Yesterday we learned that Jesus is the source of our joy. Have you asked Jesus to be the Lord of your life? Have you asked Him to forgive you for messing up? Are you walking with Him and talking with Him each day? God wants you to know Him as your Best Friend instead of as your judge. He wants to be your Comforter, your Daddy, your Go-To-Guy, and He wants to overwhelm you with His incredible love and joy. “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
